Liza and Sandy invite Sam and Molly Bear into their castle.
After a two-month hiatus, French Club is back on. We partied like it was Mardi Gras (which it was, only last week).
AC took us for a spin this afternoon… wait, no… actually, he didn’t. Perrone Robotics has been working on a self-driving car, called Tommy Jr., and it was Tommy who took us for a ride on the parking lot test track. More pictures, and the story, soon.
Excellent exhibit and film at the VMFA in Richmond. I don’t want to give too many of the mummy’s secrets away, but the most intriguing one by far was that the mummy in question, a priest named Nesperennub, was buried with a clay bowl stuck to the top of his head.
I snapped this photo while lying on the floor. Parents were invited into the gymnastics session today and instructed to lie down so our kids could leap over us. Amazingly, no one got stepped on!
What Sam said when she came out of her first piano lesson: “Mom, can we fast forward to next Tuesday, please?”
We drove back to Virginia last night in snow. (That was interesting). We were surprised, though, that it was still around this morning, since the weather forecast called for highs in the 50s. So we made the most of the snow while we could. Turns out our crazy steep hill in the back IS good […]
AC started a new gig this week, as VP of Operations at Perrone Robotics. Although from the looks of this back room, it looks like he’s also the VP of gadgets.
Actually, Benjamin was Sam’s master in a complicated storyline where they battled evil Martian creatures and ended up in the Heaven of Mars. Heaven of Mars was a pile of pillows and blankets at the top of the staircase and was very comfortable, so I hear.
Because I was feeling too ill to take any pictures today. I gave her my camera and set her loose. After about 10 shots, this was her favorite.
This is what I saw when I looked over to the car next to me as I prepared to drive away from my writing critique group meeting. There’s probably a story there.
