While my left foot is in an air cast, I can’t drive our manual car, so Grand-mère kindly swapped cars with us. Thank you, Grand-mère!

We caught the CAT today (Cville Area Transit) since this hop-along Mama isn’t currently driving because of her booted foot. The bus riding was a success on all fronts. I love it when other people drive me places.

Our wonderful neighbors gave us two lovely new additions to our yard: Nanking cherry trees. Sam named them David and Goliath. Here she is holding up David in his new spot. Brute Goliath will be planted next to him.

Sam and AC made me a number 10 pancake for Argentina’s Lionel Messi this morning, in honor of the World Cup final. Argentina lost, but Messi did win the Golden Ball award. And the pancake was quite tasty.
