Sam and I text message and send photos to each other the night before the SCBWI Mid-Atlantic conference in DC.
Every week at Sam’s soccer practice I am amused by the contrast of the field: american footballers (all boys) on one side and european footballers (all girls) on the other. And that’s a pitcher’s mound in the center of the shot. The girls end up having to play soccer on the baseball field :-/
